Looking for your experience here- I want to scope my Inch Pattern FAL, and I'm trying to find a reliable mount that will not danmage the gun.
It is a Century R1A1, all inch, and shoots great. I have had it for several years, getting old, want a scope for the range and Just In Case use.
Can't hunt with it where I live (PA), and not interested in long range work.
Recommend a scope too? What has worked for you?
Thanks for any help.

Get a SUIT scope. Its mount replaces the standard dust cover.

A SUIT would certainly give an "authentic" look to the gun.

But, if you want a mount that will accomodate common optics, the DSA mount or the TAPCO mount are the best choices for your money.

There is no difference between inch/metric as it pertains to selecting an aftermarket scope mount.
