Try www.gunpartscorp.com check around -I am not sure wheree the Virginia Dragoon is listed. I had a 1960's .44 mag revolver made by JP Sauer, replaced the entire ejector rod with one made for a Ruger SBH. Took a little filing, but fit right in. Got it from Brownells-you might want to check-the screqws may fit, too.

The Virginia Dragoon is a great revolver, strong as a truck, good shooter.

Check with your local ACE hardware - they have metric screws and last couple of times I just took my part in there, found a screw that was threaded correctly and if needed modified the head to fit with a file and a drill and sand paper a little cold blue and perfecto. :shades:

I have a Dragoon and it's a solid hunk o'metal - no troubles with it so far.

Be careful with hardware store...or any other store, screws....they will be too long. The small threaded collar on the underside of the barrel that holds the missing screw is brazed onto the barrel. If you find a screw too long....and begin to over tighten, the screw will 'pop' the brazed collar loose from the barrel. Just snug the screw (when you find one) and Lock tite the threads rather than cranking too hard.

The ejecter rod housing screw broke of after only 38 rounds of ammo i fired. The grips screws were always coming loose. Sometimes i pull the trigger the hammer would not fall.:uhoh: I tried all different types of ammo and my reloads. I was luckie if i could hit a pie plate at 20 yards. :o I ended up selling it and taking a lost. Happest day of my live is went i sold it:biggrin:
