View Full Version : Trigger Tamer Reliability?

To those who have installed the trigger tamer in your AUG/USR/STG556/AXR-

Has anyone experienced any failures or general reliability issues after the installation?

Would you recommend the item?

I am really wanting to pick up an MSAR STG556 but the trigger pull is the only thing holding me back...

Thanks for the help.

I haven't had any issues with mine. It lessened the pull weight quite a bit. Mad Dog 7.62 had some for sale awhile back so you might want to check with him about his experience and availability.

I plan on pulling my Mars out this weekend and running some more rounds through it.

I've had mine in my AUG for about two years with no problems. I would recommend one, the stock trigger pull in the AUG is just so bad.

The model for sale now is a "second generation" that has had a minor redesign and is laser cut from a different (better) material.

I concur with Bug Tussell, my pull weight dropped quite a bit; however, the trigger is still not that great. it is much better than it was, it just takes some getting use to after shooting my other rifles that have better trigger pull.
