I jave a beautiful, first year of production, four digit (no prefix) serial numbered Old Model Ruger Blackhawk in .30 Carbine caliber.
I'm looking for a really good pistolsmith to chamber and fit two auxiliary cylinders. I already have the blank cylinders. I want one chambered in .32-20 and the second chambered in the new .327 Federal Magnum.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a pistolsmith with extensive experience and demonstrated expertise with Ruger Blackhawks?
Thanks in advance!

The one that comes to mind is Hamilton Bowen. He has done things like 5 shot .454 Casull and .475 Linebaugh conversions, etc. Another would be John Linebaugh. I would love to have Bowen shortened my .45 Ruger Bisley barrel to 5 1/2 in. and a .45 ACP cylinder fitted. Not sure I could afford him though.

You also might want to check out Gary Reeder. He has done some remarkable things with Rugers.

I have friends with some of his work - nice stuff....
Where did you get blank cylinders for Ruger Blackhawk - I really like this project you have come up with.

I'll 2nd the Gary Reeder recommendation. I have a Ruger Blackhawk, .45 Colt 4-5/8" Bisley Conversion that he built. It's a piece of art. For 1911, BHP or S&W wheelgun work, there's NO other gunsmith than Karl Sokol at Chestnut Mountain Sports (http://chestnutmountainsports.com/), but for Ruger Single Action work, Gary Reeder is the man.

I WISH THE ADMINS WOULD FIND OUT WHY I'M HAVING SO MUCH DIFFICULTY POSTING LINKS THIS WEBSITE IS TRUNCATING THE URLS AND NOT ALLOWING ME TO POST!
WHEN YOU GET TO BROWNELL'S ENTER "RUGER CYLINDERS" INTO THE SEARCH TEXT BOX AND SEARRCH THEY'LL BRING YOU TO SEVERAL OPTIONS.
