View Full Version : bought a imbel FAL receiver today, 500, did i overpay?

my only other option in the shop was a twin pines/century arms receiver that was "in the white" i dont usually go for top o the line, but resale value and the fact that these kits and receivers are drying up so i figured it would be worth it, what do you all think?

That's what I paid for mine.
Although I sold a set of 3/4 ton axles for $450 and only paid $150 for em.
So I basicly shelled out $200 for mine.

I've seen them go for near that. It's as good as it gets for receivers. Now find a pristine kit to go on it. COOL!

hahaha ya i have one i just hate having to plug it into the computer to upload the pics...

$500 isn't unreasonable. You might have found one cheaper but it would have required some looking.
FYI, I recently picked up a new DSA reciever for $390 OTD.
