I own one. What is it that you want to know? They are light, for sure. There is no dust cover. No forward assist.
I don't know of any endurance tests, but mine has always worked. There are folks out there who speak of the receivers breaking at the foreward pin holes, I personally haven't seen this happen
Would I buy another? Probably. I'm not so sure about the dust cover thing over time and different circumstances.

Just looking for general opinions and comments, have a shot at one for $650 like new noban and was thinking of picking it up at that price.

I did the $650 gamble on the one I had and found it to be worthwhile at that price. I have a tendency to fall and break things that are brittle and ditched the Carbon one for an alloy model after a year or so of range time. (It was range or home, since I was afraid of tripping in the field and cracking it instead of just scratching it...)It seemed to work well for the price and the wife LOVED how light it was. The fellow who has it now won't turn loose of it, he loves the damn thing and carries it everywhere and has taken deer and countless varmints with it every year since I sold it. I later learned that the things don't crack very easily if the pins are in and the receiver halves are together. If you are pivoting upper on the front pin with enthusiasm, then you have a potential cracking liability. Now that I know how not to crack it, I am looking for another for the Mrs.

For $650, I'd say snap it up. It's funny that snowhawk mentioned it, but my Mrs also loves the Carbon 15 because of the weight. If you don't take it, I would be interested in being put in touch with the seller.
