Can some one tell me about timing a revolver?

It is a lot harder than something than can be posted.

Frankly, send it back to the factory if it has problems. What make is it ?

Cylinder rotation, cylinder bolt lock up, hammer fall, all at the right time with the exact amount of movement needed. The chamber alignment with the forcing cone is determined by the placement of the locking recess in the cylinder, and is not adjustable during the timing adjustment. This aspect should be checked by a range rod before purchasing any revolver. Mistakes in fabrication occur.
