Tried cavim for 10 rds, cleaned it.
2nd round of a diff box of the 82 OFV the case head came off.Had this stuff laying
around for 4yrs in good sealed gi ammo can.
What did fire was all over the place.
Cavim in same gun was around 1 1/2"-1 3/4.
Need a case extractor,for the 1st time.

That doesn't surprise me.
I have a couple or Indian made Enfield rifles and you can tell the difference in workmanship between these and the original British manufactured Enfield.

Surplus ammo from other Asian countries like Singapore and Malaysia is better. I bought 400 rounds of Indonesian manufacture ammo from PINDAD, good stuff, probably in par with British Radway Green. Haven't seen this around anymore ... :(

I've got several cases with a '94 headstamp, and it shoots OK, Boxer primed too.

The Indian problem is long-term stability, it apears. All the old stuff I've seen/shot was junk(maybe 300 rounds over a couple of years).
