I am new to the FAL game. Have an StG58 sighted in at 25yds. I understand that it will shoot 1-1/2" to 2" high at 100yds and dead on at 200yds. Can anyone confirm that and tell me where I will hit at 300, 400, 500, 600yds? Finally, where will I find good ballistic info on the web? TIA.

Bookeeper got to www.benchrest.com/sst (http://www.benchrest.com/sst)
go down to bullet manufactureres and then to Jensen bullets. They have a ballistics program you can use. For reloading info look at powders, all the manufactureres are listed with most having data available on te web.

Recommend you be 4cm high at 25m. This will give you a point blank range (PBR) out to 279m or so, with POI no more than 3" above of below POA.
REMEMBER- this is for 147g NATO-spec ball ammunition.

I neglected to specify, but, yes, I am using surplus ball ammo.
