I saw some 7.62 ammo at the local shop that I couldn't ID. It was reasonably priced but I wanted to check in here first before I put it through my new Entreprise Govt. Model STG.
Markings are: 75 7.62A KF
The stuff is packed in 10 rd. paper bundles in lime green painted .50 cal size ammo cans at 540 rds a can. The markings on the can are in English (warnings about explosive contents mainly). Anyone have the details on this stuff??
Thanks,
Mike

I'm not positive, but i think that stuff is Indian. If it is, I'd stay away from it.

Try www.aimsurplus.com (http://www.aimsurplus.com) for 7.62x51mm NATO ammo. I've tried both their Portuguese and their Austrian Hirtenberger stuff and have had nothing but excellent service from them. Ammo was great too!

I believe it's Indian or Pakistani. They are the only ones I know of that tie ammo up in paper and twine. In any event, I've shot Indian and some of it is corrosive. Be careful.
