I just ordered a case of Hirt yesterday, after seeing this post.

I figured, might as well start my DSA Austrian parts STG58A's new life with some Austrian ammo! LOL. Actually, I like the fact that this ammo is boxer primed.

Shipping to FL was only $10 with this special 1/2 price deal from AIM.

If this ammo wasn't battle packed, I'd lay them all out on the floor and roll around the pile squeeling like a pig for joy....hahaha!

Ya JC that is the problem with battle pack ammo, you can't take it out and fondle it. Well you can, but then that kind of defeats the purpose of buying ammo in battle packs. Anyway, I agree there is nothing more enjoyable than running your hands through a pile of ammo, or rolling around in it for that matter, except when they poke you really hard. I thing I have a ammo fetish, is there a support group for that?
