gas port for FAL carbines

What is the correct size gas port for 16"" and 18" barrel? I need to drill some barrels. I haven't built an FAL in a few years and misplaced my notes from the good old days of $79 R1 kits and $230 Imbel Receivers.

start with .098 and work up.

Shoot, I bought 2 mint L1A1 Kits ($69 each) and 2 Imbel receivers ($149 each) back when. Built one gun and sold the other receiver and still have a kit.
