Hello out there,

Will anyone please advise me on the approximate value of a FAL diopter rear sight. It looked to be in excellent condition. A friend of mine has one and neither of us knows the value. Your time is appreciated.

Thank you,

I can't be much help answering your question, but once you find out the value, I would probably be very interested if you plan on selling it, as long as its not too pricey. I hate the FAL rear sight.

Does it mount to the same little mini rail as the standard sight?

I'd love to see a pic or two, but I understand completely if you don't feel the need to cater to my every whim. I have accepted that, unfortunately, the world does not revolve around me.

I purchased one from DSA for my L1A1, very satisfied with it. Almost as good as my M1A!

Hello,

This sight has a flat disc that has 6 holes, if I remember correctly. They are:

unmarked - battle field sight ? ***photos in post below***
2 marked - 200 yards ?
3 marked - 300 yards ?
4 marked - 400 yards ?
5 marked - 500 yards ?
8(?) marked - long distance (I believe that this is an 8. It may be a 6)

It looks to mount in the same dovetail slot as a regular sight.

Does anybody know anything about this sight or its value?

Thank you,
Pete
