Help Identify this ammo.

I found a SPAM can of 308 that has been in the garage forever.

It is a zinc coated SPAM can with the key.

It is stamped:
7.62x51
BALL
45-92-61
520 ROUNDS

Any information (guesses?) you can offer as to the manufacturer., how packaged, etc. will be appreciated.

I would rather not open because it should be great storage ammo.

This stuff is made in China by Norinco. 147g fmjbt copper washed steel case. I bought 1040 rounds in a wooden case with 2 spam cans. Lot 41-92-61. It's wrapped in 4 paper packages inside (no boxes). This is the same as Chinasports that comes in 20 round boxes. I got almost 2,600fps with a 21" L1A1. Groups about 3" at 200 yds with a scope.

Ahh, that sounds about right. If it is Norinco, I think I will just open it and shoot it up.
