Ejector Block Rivets on Izzy HB

I ahve been looking at pics of Izzy HB's. It looks like they used a rivet for the ejector block.
Has anyone else noticed this? Has anyone tried to duplicate it?

I'm thinking of using a few left over AK rivets to complete my Izzy.

I had the pleasure of looking at an Onyx Arms SBL import receiver a couple days ago, and it looked like they used pins with a head on one side, don't think they are actually rivets.

I think they are pins that are compressed at either end, causing a flair..
