Hi everyone,
What is the opinion of SA R1 synthetic handguards? Bipod cut or not?
I currently have a Tapco T-48 one and was thinking about replacing it for the above.
Thanks all,
Mortis...

I love me some non-pod cut R1s. That's all I use, it's the only way to fly.

I have non-bp ones on my Rhodie. They feel chunkier than the bp-cut ones, but I like that. I shimmed mine to get them as tight as possible, but they will have more play than the Tapco T48 type.
I think as a practical matter, the T48 is the best hand guard you can get, but I like my guns to have a semblance of historic accuracy.
