The FS2000 supposedly uses AR-15 mags but I have found only original FNC mags and HK mags really work. The rest "swell" when fully loaded and hang up. Anyone else notice this?

The AR15 mag that came with mine is a standard D&H with an FN floor plate. That and other AR mags I have work just fine. Of course I don't fully load them for range plinking.

What do you mean by "hang up"?

They are tight in the mag well. The only mags I have had trouble with are my old beaters.

The blackened Stainless Steel mags work well.

By hang up, when I try and pull a loaded one out of the mag well, they can be very tight. The HK mags fit snug as they have more clearence for sand issues but some of the ARs don't just slide out if loaded. If you shoot them up they come out easier.
I was just wondering, if anyone else had observed this (or is it just me) and what clips folks were using.

Your FS2000 takes clips? That's interesting as mine only accepts magazines.
I haven't had any problems. The HK mags do seem to slip out a little easier, but I suspect that is due to the polymer finishing coat. It has a nice slick finish rather than the rough anodized finish. Slap a coat of slick paint on a standard anodized mag and I bet you would have the same feel.

I haven't had any problems with my after market AR mags. I wasn't crazy about the gray park look of my standard mags with the black FS2000 though so I bought some black DPMS 30 rounders from sportsman's guide. They seem to work fine too.
