My main CCW is a para ord. CCO. I sometimes carry an HK USP compact, Glock 30, or some other handgun in .45 acp. My backup is either a ppk or SW 642 airweight.

Whatever the mood suits me. The list is long, and distinguished....

What ever I choose to carry, I also carry at least two full reloads.

Hey, If I can't hit them, I can at least make noise until the police come save me...

Glock 26 mostly, backed up by a Sigma 380 or Kel-tec P32. Car gun is a Sigma 9mm, I got it cheap, and it will shoot rings around all my Glocks except G20.

I also carry an AR15 in the trunk. My wife thinks I'm paranoid, but we had a little "episode" in the AZ desert where my thumbhole stocked L1A1 made for a great equalizer/intimidator against some of our Southern neighbor's finest... She only thinks I'm partly paranoid now!

Inside the pack or inside the waist band. Seventeen more in the full sized mag and, most important, plenty of trigger time. I got this Glock in 1996 and have thousands of rounds through her. She eats it all, including reloads and Woff. She is presently loaded with 115gr Remington Golden Sabers :D

I carry a Seecamp LWS .32 in a wallet holster. It prints like a wallet, and is about the easiest way to go for me, no matter what my dress or the weather.

Easy to comply with the first rule.

Depends a bit on the weather & how I have to be dressed.

Always a Glock30 somewhere on me.

If I'm in shorts and a t-shirt, then it's in a fanny pack.

In jeans it's either on my hip or in an ankle holster as a back-up to the Glock21 on my hip when I venture into urban areas.

When venturing into the mountains here in Colorado the Glock30 usually winds up in a parka pocket and my S&W 629 3" stainless goes into a belt holster. The bears aren't usually too much of a problem, but mountain lion attacks are becoming more frequent.

99% of the time it's my GLOCK M-27...

IF/WHEN I find a Really good holster I would like to carry my MAK or CZ-82 as well..

For several years before I bought the GLOCK it was my TAURUS PT-99AF..
Reliable gun I had hard chrome plated and worked over by COGAN Custom years ago.. Just a too big for everyday carry though..

Would like to use the CASPIAN .45, but again it's Kinda tough to carry a Full size pistol here in Florida as I almost always were shorts and a Light shirt..

When I am serious it has traditionally been a S&W 3913 in a cheap inside the pants holster. I like it so much that when I finally had a chance to buy a 4040 PD Airlite I jumped on it to have something similiar in .40 S&W. I paid a lot but like the 4040 every bit as much as I thought I would. That is something that does not happen very often I assure you. I have also been known to drop a stainless Rossi "J" frame with a Tyler T-grip in a pocket holster in my baggy shorts with a Bianchi speed strip in the other pocket. When I do not want to carry anything bigger I go with my P32 and a spare mag. It would be my P3AT but it is not as reliable as the P32. Truck gun is a Smith 457 soon to be swapped out for a 645 I picked up at the last show. I have not shot the 645 enough to trust my life to it yet, and I actually shoot the 457 really well. Bedstand gun is actually two. A Browning HP and a Ruger MKII. The HP for two legged trouble and the Ruger for dispatching critter (we live in the country).

During cold weather I carry a S&W Model 642 Airweight Centennial loaded with Federal +P 129 gr Hydra-Shoks.

Warm/hot weather carry has been the little Kel-Tec P32 in an UM #1 pocket holster. Loaded with Fiocchi 73 gr FMJ which is the hottest .32 ACP FMJ I can find now that the RWS/Geco FMJ hasn't been available for several years/

Bought a new Kel-Tec PF-9 last year with all the so called improvements. I've carried it a few times during this winter loaded with Geco 124 gr FMJ. This could become my main cold weather piece next year if I keep the thing.

And so it goes.

lately i've been carrying my glock 20 in the IWB. i almost always wear carhartts so i can fit the extra 15 rnd mag nicely in the right side leg pocket.

works great.

i have a nice, VERY accurate load of 12 grns of blue dot pushing a 155 grn XTP with speeds up to 1350 FPS, still under max pressure but quite abit more snappy than standard factory loads.

i like the knockdown power i get with the 10MM

i used to carry the RIA M1911 exclusivly, but i have to admit the glock prints less and wears more comfortable. also its a choice between 17 rnds of .45 or 31rnds of 10MM. not much of an argument there...

Gold Dot I carry in my full size Sig Revolution and Taurus PT1911 are a bit too intense for rapid fire and quick follow up shots. The only modification I have done is an ambi safety since I shoot left handed now.

Not fancy,.. but it's there fast if necessary. Taurus Model 431 .44 Special. I keep it loaded with 200 grain Blazer Gold Dots. It's always close.

Paid $175 new for it about 13 years ago. It's a good no frills tool,... one of the better concepts Taurus ever came up with, in my opinion. I can't understand why they discontinued them.

For a couple years it was a Kahr PM9 exclusively, which was soooo much nicer
than the big Ruger P89 I had been carrying. The PM9 opened up whole new wardrobe possibilities, especially in the summer.

Lately I swap around between a couple J-frame .38 snubbies, the PM9 and a 4" 1911 on colder days.

Maybe this oughto go in the *new* "Surplus Handguns" forum, but I've carried the CZ52 concealed, briefly. With surplus ammo there is a large over-penetration potential. It does carry nicely IWB, since it's narrow and slim at the muzzle, but due to its' age, questionable safety features, and without something other than FMJ, it's not a good choice.

When I lived in Orlando- full size 1911 Kimber Stainless Match. Now that I'm in Commiefornia and no CCW, it's Mini-14 in the trunk.

When I delivered money for Loomis, it was Kimber in the holster, hand on my HK USP .45 inside the money bag- this way the bank tellers could feel all warm and fuzzy and were never the wiser. Banks are the worst about security, your average Kragen auto is way more on the ball, so sad.

+1 on the CRKT M21 always. When I carry it's usually a full size 1911 or an Officer's model in an Aker yanqui slide. Sometimes a CZ75B in .40. When I need to be really discreet, a NAA Guardian in .380. Out in the woods, usually a revolver.

Daily carry is a Sig P239 9mm with 147-gr Gold Dots in either an IWB Galco or a Don Hume JIT slide OWB depending on what I intend to be wearing and how active I am going to be.

If clothing or situation allows it, a Sig P220 with Winchester Ranger 230's in a Galco FBI-cant OWB.

For those occaisions when I am wearing nearly nothing and have to have something, a Jennings J22 loaded with Stingers stuck in whatever crevice is available.

Wintertime in CO....anything I want, usually an old S&W 442 or a SIG 228.
Summertime in CO...Keltec .380 or the S&W 442

Oftentimes stick my Walther P22 in a pocket when just bummin around the ranch or local mountain trails.

Non-concealed backcountry pistol is usually a Ruger SP 101 3" .357 w/ 180 gr hardcast lead FP over a caseful H110. Yikes!!!

I always carry, every day.
Everyday: either a Glock 17 2gen with 124+p Golden Sabres or Glock 26, in sidearmor or Comptac IWB holsters.
Sickday gun: Taurus 85 with 158+p LSWCHP in Don Hume IWB.
In the woods: S$W 3" 65 with 125 JHPs and 185 JSPs in the speed loader, carried in a Galco pancake holster. Bears, probably not. Mountain lions, Maybe. Tweakers, often.

Depending on the situation, the armament may change to include MarkII (with or without TAC65 suppressor), Ruger Vaquero in .357 mag, or HK P7M8.

I would be dissapointed in your name if there wasn't one on stand by somewhere! ;)

My dealer is a HUGE 10mm 1911 fan. He makes a good point when he talks about it. It does have several advantages. The disadvantage is availability and selection. FBI weak loading it pretty much killed it. Norma still has it down. Impressive ballistics.

I will probably be into a new BHP 9mm soon, so I will swap between it and the 1911 when it is up to spec.

"Tanfoglio" - "The Tanfoglio Force, also known as TZ-75, is a modified clone of the Czech CZ-75 pistol. It is made in Italy by Tanfoglio, and imported to the USA by European American Armory (EAA) and called the Witness."

If I'm not mistaken, that was the sidearm carried by Alexander Hope in the book "Hope"?

In the woods, a Charter Target Bulldog in .44 Special.

The 1911 is in a Sam Andrews holster, the P-32 in a pocket, a pocket holster, or with a belt clip. The Bulldog is in an Uncle Mike's holster. Usually have a reload or two for anything I carry.

Just depends on what threat level I figure there is where I am going. Most of the time a 5 shot revolver is good enough with two reloads. If I travel I might throw in more firepower with some extra mags. Just depends.

What, no Broomhandle in a shoulder rig?

Nice looking set-up there homelandprotector.
Who made the holster, belt and magazine carrier ?

I think it's a Milt Sparks. I was in Dillon Precision's store in Scottsdale yesterday and they had a Milt Sparks holster for a CZ-75 that looked almost exactly like that one except it was black. That is some sweet looking leather HP, is it a Sparks?

Kahr PW9 if I have time to mess with the belt and ITPH and spare mag-pouch.

Well, I originally bought a Browning Hi-Power with the intention of carrying it, but it's just too darn pretty to get a sweated-up and finish-worn.

Bought a Colt 1991-A1 Stainless, but man, it's just too heavy...got tired of always hiking my jeans up, no matter which holster I tried.

Bought a used Glock 21 off of a cop friend. Lightweight, accurate, lots of firepower, but too darned bulky for a concealed-carry weapon.

Bought a S&W .357 Centennial 2+ inch snubbie. Never felt good about only 5 rounds, and I'm too slow on reloads. Besides, if you don't have a flinch, this pistol will teach you one!

Bought a S&W 908 9mm. Not bad, but for some reason I just never liked it - heavy trigger pull, not a good selection of holsters, expensive mags, bear to field-strip and re-assemble.

Bought a Bulgarian Makarov. Now we're talkin'! Cheap mags, GREAT trigger pull, reliable, accurate, lightweight and comfortable to carry, Falcon holsters well made and inexpensive (bought an IWB and a shoulder rig). Those sights are pretty darned small, though. Better practice more, but that 9mm MAK ammo is expensive!

Bought a Bersa .22 as a practice stand-in for the Makarov. You know, I kinda like that Bersa.....wonder about the same pistol in .380? So I bought one, shot it a lot, liked it. Retired the Makarov and now pretty much carry the Bersa. With the .22 and the .380 as a matched set, I can afford all the practice ammo I can stand to shoot, which has got to be a good thing, huh?
