No, but I have tried the 162 gr 7 mm and 75 gr 5.56 bullet, and in my opinion they shoot better than Sierra match bullets. Just don't mess up that tip!

I've tried them in my Rem. 700 PSS. I can't get them to shoot as well as Sierras.

Same experience w/AMAX 168s. Not as accurate as the Sierras in my bolt gun, and the AMAX plastic tips broke off on the feed ramp of my FAL. The VMAX/TAP tips do NOT break off in the FAL, and are quite accurate.

My SAKO likes them...42.5g of N140, Lapua case, Fed 210M primers. :D

I've had good luck with the 120gr 7mm v-max in my much maligned M77R ('bout 3/4 to 1" at 100 which ain't too bad for an unmodified hunting gun) hence the question. Don't anticipate using them in the FAL so the tip breakoff thing not an issue. On the otherhand we got two unsolicitated votes for sierra so I'll have to try 'em too.
