I'm pondering this for an AR15 bull barrel. I have a bunch of leupold mkiv's and nikon tacticals but my house budget says I can't exceed $300 right now for a gun I rarely shoot anyway. This scope runs about $280 right now with a bullet drop reticle of sorts. Seems like some thought went into the design, but I have no experience with Burris at all.
Does anyone have any experience with this scope or line of scopes? Anyone have other suggestions? I remember Leupold had a 3-9x40 with target turrets and was a bargain "tactical" scope of sorts, but I couldn't find it anywhere. How does this stack up?
