Approximately how much does your standard every-day normal used-condition underfolder AK kit sell for?

My ideal AK-47 is just a simple wood furniture slant-brake with an underfolder... Wondering about how much I'm going to spend on one of these in kit-form...

Most of the less expensive underfolder kits run from $300-$400 but some of the rare ones can go for as much as $700-$1000
Do you know what kind of kit you are looking at?

Nope. I'm not looking at any kits. I just want an underfolder 7.62 AK kit. Standard wood hand guards and slant brake. That's all.

Thanks for the info. :)

Unless you get a Romy kit and can find the UF parts, I think the now scarce Polish kits are about the only choice for an UF. I think they are right around $300 when you can find one. Not bad really, when recently I saw someone post an UF for $140, and the Romy kits are now about the same. So you are approaching the cost of the Polish kit quite quickly.

So Romies are around $140 with UF?

Or Romy UF's are closer to Polish normal prices?

Thanks.

here's a link dude

www.copesdist.com/partskits.htm

They are pretty good to deal with.

About $50 to $60 in compliance parts and $96 for an underfolder receiver from nodakspud.

Or you can get a Yugo UF for about the same price. But you would have to find the wood handguards for it cause I think they come in plastic.

Maybe I wasn't clear.
Romy "G" kits are about $140.
IF you can find an UF stock and trunnion, left over from someone's build, they are approaching $140 for these parts only.
This would be spending about $280 for a Romy rifle kit and then the UF parts too. This is actually the route I went.

That would be correct. Having fooled with both the Yugo and the Polish I'd go for another Polish if I needed a third under folder. Might check out Gunthings.com they had Polish UF's some time back and the quality was really great.
