I keep seeing references to malfunctions or problems concerning the use of the Tapco G2 single hook trigger with an NDS-3, can anyone clarify the problem for me?

DCI/NDS's website details this problem and the fix for it.

so that wouldn't be a problem with the double hook? Or is it better to use some other brand of trigger?

No problem with the double hook. I did use a single hook on the NDS-3 withouts issues but Id stick with the double if I was ordering.

I believe you have to slot the reciever just ahead of the opening for the trigger.
The NDS-3 only has the cut for the single hook I believe. Again if you refer to Harlans website it does detail it pretty well.

yeah, I've heard about the slot that has to be cut for the double hook - what kind of tool do you use for that, a dremel?
