I am a newbie to this site so please pardon me if the question has been asked already but, is there anybody out there who can reactivate the tritium illumination module that came with my scope? I imagine that it would only take removing the capsule and installing a live one. The LED unit included by DSA works well but it protrudes quite a bit and seems fragile.
I would appreciate any help here, this is my first FAL and I am so far very impressed.

Hard finding live capsules of the proper kind. Some have adpated other retail-available sources, and some have used LED illumination.

Tritium activation is VERY expensive, and very government controlled. It is a booster in Hydrogen bombs, and has little commercial use except as we see in in sights, watches, and markers.

Re-activation is probably not doable, currently.

TAPCO sells an LED illuminator for $30 bucks, according to the flyer I got yesterday. Let us know if it works 'cause I would try it for the price.

BTW I have a couple of Guzzis and vintage road race one of them with WERA.
