Anything for a standard barrel (non-HB) will work.

Cheers,
Mike

Whatchewgonnado? Sell those light Izzy guards to finance the rest of the project? Everybody else is bidding them out of sight to put on STGs and you are building a Izzy without? Shame, Shame.;^)

Dear Sir,

You can use Std Metric ones, STG / Belg /
Metric wood / R1 South African / IMBEL /
DSA and even British L1A1's ( my favorite on a Carbine )

You can use pretty much any of them except
Heavy Bbl ones, because they take a larger
hand guard ring socket ( handguard rear assembly cap ) You can take the HB's handguards and modify them to fit the std
cap / socket though.

I understand changing the look thing. From the latest Brownell's Gun Kinks 4, "Have you seen the latest magazine offering from Playboy directed at the married man? Has the same centerfold every month."
