Spotting scope

Does Bushnell make a decent spotting scope? Saw one today at Bass Pro for $250'ish, 25-50x with tripod. Redhead had a similar power scope for nearly a hundred less but, damn, when they put stuff in there like a generic boresight kit and a separate 3-9 variable scope I hear that Billy Mays loudmouth from TV in my head when reading the box and run away.

Looking for something to do spotting chores in the 200 yard range.
