Just the frog and scabbard...did they use the tube style that clicks onto the Belgian flash suppressor?

No. They used the two finger "elastique" British designed bayonet. Page 350/351 of the fal bible. The American T48 bayonet was a deritive of this bayonet as well.

Early Izzy's used the bayonet with 2 flash-hider prongs.
Later Izzy's used the tubular bayonet as they switched to the Belgian-style combo device.

That is for the Type A bayonet.

How can I tell? Look at where the bayonet enters the sheath. It's a straight slot. Tube bayonet sheaths have a half-moon shape.
