 Alright, like a proud parent I cannot wait longer(sorry Roger-had to post something!)- here is the 1 st pic of the 1st of 2-3 rifles DunkRD has done for me. I hope to have more pics from Dunk soon and will post as I get them.
It is a Para built on 1 of the new Entreprise receivers and it has apparently come out looking great!
I sent Roger aall the parts except for the barrel and izzy hg -which I bought from him- and this is what I am getting.....
BTW- the feedramps were apparently a non issue with this even though they looked like the pics posted in the receiver thread-for what it is worth.
It has the following and Roger did all the work-
17" Barrel cut,crowned and rethreaded
A factory STOLL FH that was cut down in length.
A Falcon Arms para carrier ,cover, and spring set
A SA Para Lower
Izzy LB HG
DSA Para adj RR sight
Grenade gas plug
Inch Mag release(I am left handed so I can release the mags with my trigger finger)
Has had some polishing done to the carrier top to smooth it out
Receiver had to had some relieving in the piston area due to the Falcon Carrier being bigger than stock.
Requuired a .280/81 LS-if you guys need any .250 or so LS see Roger-he has some.
All lettering has been painted in by Roger(will see in other pics)
The finish is Plum Brown Duracoat over Park and the rest is Matt Black Duracoat over Park. I saw Darkearth's rifles and decided to try something a bit different-I told Roger to have at it and he decided to remove and do the GB in black and contrast as he saw fit I think it is bitchin and so does he.
At the initial firing the rifle basically took about 13 rounds to start functioning right and now i am told runs like a sewing machine.
Any way enjoy til I get more pics and I will definitely post a pic of me with it!!

Hey Guys I AM in the PRK ,all I do is make sure the rifle is 30" OAL WITH the folder folded and I install a wedge in the mag release slot so the 10 mag I have to install is 'fixed'-mag release will not work but it is not permanently altered.
the key thing in the PRK is if it has a fixed 10 rd mag then you can have all the 'evil features' you want. I also call bullshiit on the PRK '30" rule' that DOES NOT state whether the length is measured with the folder open or closed....FEDERAL law is 26" OAL and this is counted as having the folder or collapsing stock in the extended position-NOT collapsed or folded. This is a BIG gray area .
Any way I am in the PRK like you guys so a 10 will go in once I get it back.
Using the Inch mag release makes perfect sense since the AR for example has the release button on the rhs so you trigger finger can push it to release mags. I stil do not comprehend why the FAL mag releases -inch and metric- are done like they are. I mean the I understand the idea and the methods but still does not make sense to me 100%.
Any way I have some better pics and will be posting a review for DunkRD in the 'reviews' thread. He does great work and has done work for a lot of people but does not seem to get correct recognition for his work.
I am getting the details decided on the 2nd rifle for him to do for me.-

Dunk is getting it ready to ship so that is why no mag.. so a big:tongue: to that foul call.-
You know I have been hearing strange metallic noises coming from my safe......there is a disturbance in the Force and the 20 and 30 rd mags seem to be moving on their own when a look on the shelves...I think they smell an open mag hole...      :uhoh:

Man that thing is great looking.
I've always avoided having a Para built, but after handling several im in love with them.
I bet that rifle would look extra mean with a FNC handguard adapted to it. Einheit are you any good at photochop?

I was holding the Para today at my Dads house in AZ when all of a sudden a bunch of 10/20/and 30 rounders attacked it and tried to get into the open mag well-dont we all!
So what could I do but take gun porn pics....Took a couple pics with a straight 30 in it and acessories Hey the mags 'insisted' or they said they would jam on me?!
Alas it now has the POS 'fixed' 10 rd mag in it-nothing like only having 1/2 a nut sack left...at least til i go out of state!
The straight 30's are 2x20's welded with reinforcments and I just found Izzy Stamps on the bodies. I posted in Gen Firearm for more info-I do not think these were done in the USA.

This is the first time I've ever heard or seen anybody else that owns one of those Izzy mags besides me. I got one 9 years ago from a vendor at a fun show that was really good at finding hard to find stuff. I paid a pretty penny for mine way back before you could get the South African 30 rounders. Vendor told me the conversions were done in Israel. From all of the various manufacturers of 30 rounders I own the Izzy is the one that you can come closest to topping off (28 and sometimes 29) and not have to worry about a misfeed when you pull the BHO to close the bolt carrier. Most of the others I own aren't too good when you go past 25 rounds. Just curious if you have the same problem?

Not yet bud but to avoid any BS here in the PRK i only run them when I visit family in AZ, so I do not have a track record to give you, but I can keep you in mind and let you know(?)
So I was right, these are not US modded mags ,they are IZZies-Thanks !
They also fit great in the Canadian Mag bra in the pic..
Definitely the ONLY bra I will ever wear!

That is pretty sweet!! I'm much more into Inch guns, but if I ever build a metric, I'd want to do an Izzy Para mixmaster like that!

Yep that is pretty sweet. It really looks good with the izzy hguards and mags. Nice find on those. If you have other hi-caps in the state already I would just replace them with the Izzy's.
I am familiar with the "wedge" type of mag-lock, but I prefer the "bullet button" (tool-operated) mag release. Whichever way you use it to detach the mag, a tool is a tool.
Any idea why it required a .280 LS? I worked on a couple Century's last week that both took a .270 and I thought that was big! I hope my E'prise builds don't need huge ones like that.

I am not sure BUT it seems the ejector block gap to the receiver may have something to do with it. I trust dunks measuring and checking so it must be what it is. I am no expert on the LS thing but if my next build-which Dunk is doing for me as we speak-has a similar LS size, I am going to look at my 3rd receiver and compare the EB gaps, position, etc with my FMAP and Imbels, and if the gaps are larger in the front-ie EB towards the chamber then I would think it would cause a larger LS to be needed......?????? That is my theory anyway.
Will probably post findings in the gen firearm discussion-"E" receiver thread.
FWIW-IF THE SHTF EVER HITS THEN AT LEAST YOU could PUT 20'S IN YOURS-dammit caps lock!- and reload a LOT faster then me..'wait I need to remove the wedge!...dammit I said WAIT!!  :uhoh: :aug: :aug:   :uhoh: :aug: :aug:
but if that happens--screw the laws on the 'limits'
