Very historic knife indeed, I'm surprised it did'nt bring even more $$
In 1937 the same type Scagel hand forged knife was the inspiration that made Bo Randall become a knifemaker.

Glad that I didn't find it!! Imagine the AGONY of putting it up for sale to a bunch of "Collectors" ?

I thought I did real good when I found a Morseth -a REAL one- at an auction a couple years back. I got it for $12.

Always wanted a Morseth, but didn't have the patience to wait!
Now, I wish I'd have waited for a dozen or so.
Another knife I liked was made by Merle Sequine (?) from Alaska. Never found one for sale though. It had a Moose antler handle.

After 15 yrs. of searching, I found a "Case Sea Scout" at a flea market in New Hampshire. Few years later I found another at a Sportman's show in a junk box. $5 for the first, $15 for the second. Don't know what they are worth. Case collectors haven't heard of them.
