Here are some pictures of the Tapco L1A1 kit I built last weekend. I used an Entreprise Type III metric receiver, FSE HTS, Entreprise zero climb brake, Tapco gas piston, and Tapco cocking handle. I'm going to refinish the metal, and I will probably get a new pistol grip.

good job, dude! I have a Tapco kit in the stack waiting to be built...behind my bipod Imbel, and the R1 hehehe...now at least I know what it'll look like when it's done! :)

Actually it is Kansas State. I wish I was close to Tapco, I'd save a fortune on shipping!
