View Full Version : Questions about FAL Bayonets

Ok here we go:

1.) How many different mounts are there for these things? Metric and Inch? From different pics (Ive never owned any) Ive seen what looks like teeth on one kind that hooks on to the back of a muzzle brake(?) and on another it looked like it just slid on to the front of the brake.

2.) Im assuming if youve got a "post ban" FAL you cant have a bayonet on it but how exactly did they make it to where you cant mount one? I heard something about all new US brakes have to be like .09in bigger so that it wont fit. Any truth to this?

3.) Referrence to #2 if youve got a Inch one with the teeth that latch on to the back of a brake (assuming Ive got that part right) cant those still be attached?
