The bottom one is my new R1 kit that FNFreak and I put Put together today.

I think I need to shave another 1/2" or so off the stock to get the right fit for the STG buttpad.

The R1 feels stiffer and the springs and such feel more powerful than my STG.

Nope...they are refinished Izzy on the top rifle.

And refinished R1 wood on the lower rifle.
