Top rifle started out as a very early CAI rifle. The receiver has no other markings other than CAI Sporter and the serial # below it, so I don't know where the receiver was produced. I've heard Argentina, maybe. The rifle was a mish mash of L1A1 stuff when I bought it. The rails wasn't even machined for the folding charging handle!!! Since it was a metric receiver, I bought a STG kit and had L/FN(Larry)rebarrel/headspace it and a local guy reblue it since that's what appeared to be the original finish on the STG kit. US parts are FSE/Tapco H,T,S, Tapco piston, Penguin stock, CAI pistol grip and a non ported muzzle device.
Bottom rifle is a CAI "Centurion" model and was put together on an Imbel receiver. This rifle has worked very well, believe it or not!! US parts include FSE/Tapco H,T,S, VOW pistol grip, Tapco piston, and US mag floor plate.
Thanks for looking.
