You are saying powder coat? Did you have it done by someone else or did you buy something and do it yourself?

I did it myself. We have a powdercoat booth at work. I started to camo it, but switching out the colors is a pain. So I left it as is.
Word to the do it yourselfer, after coating, wipe off the locking shoulder. I had my headspace set a bit on the tight side. I had to clean off the baked on epoxy to get it to cycle correctly.
All carbon fouling wipes right off with an oily rag! unexpected upside to the epoxy coat. Oh yeah, sheds water like a duck too.

SWhot about 100 rds yesterday. The powder coating threw a few tolerances out of whack. But after about 40 rds it was broke in and functioning good.
Used MolySlide paste on the carrier to reciever points. Stays where you put it and and is real slick.
Real pleased with my new toy. On top of that my other kit build is on it's way back from AZEX. Thanks Derek!

The stock is a Penguin Arms stock, p-grip is Dan at VOW and the handguards are just repainted with flat black camo paint. Had to put a few coats on the handguards for them to look good. They were pretty scratched up before I started. I gavve them a light sandblast inside and out to get the paint to stick and look even. May go over the handguards later with the bedliner type paint you can get at the car parts store.
