About have this one complete. R1 kit (came with G1 parts in it), spare STG parts on a DSA receiver with DSA parts. got the (wrong) hensoldt scope and mount, and sleeved the fh. i've tossed the crap hesse imatation walnut grip for an ironwood, and changed out buttstocks for one that matched better. all thats left is to do the detail painting, and find the right scope one of these days.

Very nice. Where did the buttstock come from, not Ironwood from the sound of your post? Looks like a good match of the original wood, well the entire gun for that matter.

Sleeving the original f/h is the way to go. I put a DSA fake long f/h on mine and it doesn't quite do it for me.

I wish that was an ironwood stock, it would be alot easier matching up pg to buttstocks. i could use about 3-4 more of them, but i only have 1 other B model stock and i'm planning on building a t-48 and a fal 'canada' and an X8. hopefully some of the G1s comming in will have them, or ironwood will make some up.

I was also wondering how you sleeved the flash hider? Doing a L1A1 and like to have the original look sans the bayo lug?

thanks
