Pardon my ignorance but who is FSE, will H/T/S work on L1A1, and where do I get inch floor plates and follower?
You can use DSA metric gas piston?

It took me nearly two years to find the US inch parts for this thing. I picked the parts up from gunshows around the country. The DSA piston was an unfinished long piston that I had my machinist match the piston from an L2A1 post-sample that I had access to. The Inch floor plates and followers are out there, scarce, but they're out there.

Very nice. It is a challenge to do Inch guns. I am doing one now on an excellent kit I picked up last year (before Federal got their kits, so I paid a premium). It will be on an Entreprise Inch receiver (pricey, but simplifies the US count). Hesse Inch H.T.S., Piston, and US grip (Dan's wood). I have $325 in the kit and $375 in the receiver, and $125 in US parts. Should be a beautiful piece but not in the same class as your L2. Humm, if the US made folding charging handle becomes available and with a US grip you could get rid of the mags parts!
Yes, I am an agent of Satan, but my duties are mainly ceremonial.
