Good it worked, It's amazing, You learn something new everyday. Anyway here is my first FAL. I Finally got it together and refinished. Took about three months. Weekend progect. Lot's of fun. All the hard word and $$$$$$ payed off last saturday when I went out to a "range" and fired. It was great anticipating that first round. When I squeezed that trigger the first time I had to keep on squeezing till the Mag was out. http://www.fnfal.com/forums/smile.gif What a great feeling of power. I love my new FAL. Here are a few pictures. I don't have the pictures of the refinishing yet but when I do I'll post them. It is an Imbel kit on a Imbel REC. Tapco MB, Penguin Stock (Great stock) and homemade paintjob.
Hope you enjoy. Awesome Battle Rifle. Can't wait for next Saturday. There is never enough ammo.

I can appreciate all FALs, but I really enjoy one that keeps the original profile of a given model. Your's looks like nice original StG style, I'm sure yu're proud of it!

Now go shoot the heck out of it. I sure wish I could find the time to shoot the FALs in my "Stable."
