What kind of barrel do you have on it? US made, Argie, etc...? I am just curious.

Thanks guys.

The barrel is Argentine, purchased from Tapco. It is 21" from breech face to muzzle. It is in mint condition, and I beleive Tapco is still selling them for around $70.

Hi Tool,

Your STG is what I want to convert my AIM/CAI STG into. I ordered the complete, new, barrel today for 49.95. As soon as I get it and the parts form AIM, off it goes to ARS. The only difference is that I want to add a DSA, browning replica muzzlebrake, like the kind Brit L1A1's have. You have a damn nice rifle there http://www.fnfal.com/forums/smile.gif

Thanks!

I know it kind of looks bare, but I decided not the add a muzzle brake for two reasons:

1) If, by some miracle, the Assualt Weapons ban expires in 2004 I am going to stick a flash hider on the rifle.

2) My last STG had a muzzle brake, and that Mofo' was LOUD. The absence of the brake on this rifle created a much much quieter *bang*

I will admit that the bastard kicks a little more now, and the muzzle brake also gives the rifle an added "cool" factor.
