i'd say you have two to many if you'd like i'll take the two heavy barrels on the bottom off of your hands.i dont want them to be lonly.

As Sen. Phil Graham once said when asked how many guns he had " I have more guns than I need but not as many as I would like".

It`s about time someone gets their priorities
straight..What about this config..Give it some thought anyway..

Wood furniture on that DSA shorty..??? http://www.fnfal.com/forums/biggrin.gif http://www.fnfal.com/forums/biggrin.gif

Rich, wood furniture on a shorty is going to be my first assembly attempt. Can't wait for the Ironwood folks to get into production.

I love that L2A1!!! How do ya like that dsa lightweight with reflex sight? Can you notice a big weight difference?

September 09, 2000, 02:16
Nice Aussie L1A1. That looks like the laminated handguards, right?

Where did you find that furniture?

September 09, 2000, 16:08
rich: wood? nah, i've got to have one evil black gun!!

ANON: not much weight differance on the light weight front end. its just missing a couple of inches from the handguards and gas piston/tube. any weight i might have saved i made up with the scope mount and sight. but i love that reflex sight. i can pop clay pigons at 100 yds no problem.

abominog: the handguards came with the kit, but i have gotten a set from enterprise and another set at a local gunshow

Seriously, thatís a very nice collection.

I shall not covet my neighbors FALs

Got a question for you. Can you tell me alittle about the L2A1? That is the one on the bottom right, right? I am looking at getting one off a customer, and needing value. It is a post 94, but is 922 comp. Welded break etc. But to my knowledge it is British. Learning more daily.

Thanks Todd

Hey Woodie, while looking at the picture of your rifles i could not see the right side bipod leg on you L2A2. It looks as if it is only using the left side to prop it up, what gives? PAT
