Well Im finally finished with my
first StG/FAL rifle. I used an
M&A parts kit along with an FSE
US Kit. I hope to get out the
weekend and sight my baby in.

Looks great! Have been debating the truck bed liner spray myself, but have been wondering about its chip resistance, etc...did you have to sand the stock/grip any to get it to adhere good? Also, did you refinish your parts kit and receiver, or were they just in really good shape?

Thanks for the compliments guys!
The kit was in excellent shape, but
was in a very gray to black pakerized
finish and wouldnt match the light gray
Imbel receiver well at all, so both
were refinished.

As for the bed liner spray, all I did was
degrease the buttstock and sand with some
500 grit paper (I had to use some fiberglass filler to repare a gash that was there when
I got it). Then I used some black spray
primer (a couple of coats and the bed liner spray. The spray liner is tuff stuff and
with a few coats shouldnt chip. Ive used it in the past on some AR15 stocks and handguards with good success.

Oh the magazine catch doesnt go all the way
home because the receiver is new and hasnt
"broken in" yet. There is zero play between
the upper and lower. Nice and tight.=0)
