Alright here we go...hope I understood the UBB code correctly!
Here's the crew that showed up:
Not sure but I think the guy in the background was "one of us"...Mike you must have been screwing with your camera...and Ted is admiring someones new 'brass strainer' rather than paying attention to the cameralady...

Same crew plus Mike...all now pointing weapons at my wife...sorry guys, I had the wallet today...
http://www.alltel.net/~jbperry/gafal4.jpg
Here's the stimpsters wife making holes...nothing like a woman with a gun...errr...weapon in her hands...
http://www.alltel.net/~jbperry/jillgafal.jpg
Here's an action shot of DK firing his Galeil(right? spelling?) while Dan clears another jam...a defective gas-tube was the culprit and was remedied while at the range...go Dan!

And here's a shot of some of the hardware just lying about waiting to be fondled

I put a number on everyone so you can Identify yourself if you want...I'm number 3.
peace!

Sure, I'm not shy. I'm #9. The smile on my face comes from havin' TOO much fun or is that possible?
DK is #2, DK's good shootin' buddy Brian is #1.
Had a blast! Must do it again!!!

I'm number 7.
I'm glad that I can actually put faces to the names I see on the FAL Files board. Everyone was great, and I hope it was worth the drive for those of you that came from far away. I know my SA-58 is happier with a DAN@VOW pistol grip on it. Thanks Dan!!

Hey all, I'm #5, but we try harder! Had a great time, even with a mulfunctioning weapon. What a great bunch of folks, FALaholics, every one. And Evans and the bump, I've got brass marks all over! But I know he had a blast, and will continue to do so. Thanks to a great bunch, and glad I finally got to put faces with the names on the board. Dan at VOW
Ted is looking at the "doorprize." Who won the "doorprize" anyways?

hey guys,
i'm the #10 mystery guy. i was ProGun1's shooting partner last week at a CMP rifle clinic and he invited me to join you guys.
i'm an AR15.com'er <gasp> and you probably saw me with my mutt Colt's preban carbine <gasp again>.
shot some FAL and i know what you guys like about these rifles now. much smoother than my AR10A2 (ArmaLite). lighter too. and cheaper mags. <g>
i had a good time and want to say thanks for the hospitality from the whole group. there are some good and seriously knowledgeable members. y'all are too cool.
i'll be looking to put together an FAL SOON!!
scott out
who was it that had the $189 Imbels, Mike in GA??? <vbg>

Scott - you should have grabbed one of the excess FAL's and jumped in the photo. I counted 14 FAL's present! So there were plenty of extras for a visitor/soon to be full member in good standing of the "FAL club". http://www.fnfal.com/forums/smile.gif
Scott's the lefty in Mike's pix at Photopoint.

Well, looks like I missed a great turnout. I'm still waiting for a transfer on my SAR and to make the wait worse broke a pin in my AR last week(defective part). I should have came anyway, I know Scott and believe I saw another member in the photos I met at a show. I'll be sure and make the next one, rifle and broken parts or not.

Ya know...thats what I get for trying to get a head in life. I miss all the fun. Of course thats my problem with work in general. It allways ends up cutting into my personal time. Looks like you guys had a good turnout. I live in Tampa Florida but if you guys do it again I will make the drive. -FLC

Come! We had more FAL and clones than we had shooters. Thanks to the generosity of guys like DK, et al, we had plenty of hardware!

THanks for Responding...
I am in Atlanta but willing to make a drive to shoot. I have an STG-58 parts built out on a DSA reciever with DSA break. Assembled by Arizone response systems. Also have Springfield Gov 6-14 x 54 scope on it...Talk about fun...Was thinking about putting a carbine upper on it for just shooting rocks...Anyway, if you are in Atl area and know of a good outside place to shoot semi-regular (like once every two weeks) I would love to hear about it. I will stay tuned for your fall meeting. Thanks.
