I believe this has been covered before, but I cant find it with a search.
How do you replace a bent Metric pistol grip stud. And also where are they available from.
I have one that is bent, and I'm afraid I'll break it trying to straighten it. It is Israeli, but Metric instructions should apply.
Thanks,

Getting it real hot may make it easier to bend back.

Thanks Court. I'll keep that in mind. I just figured it would be easier to replace it since it's bent in a couple places, like someone tried to straighten it before. Dose'nt anyone know where to find info on this. I kind of remember seeing a thread about stud replacement a while back.

P.S. Whats up with the Metric receivers from DSA Court?

You can also fully remove the bent/offending stud and replace it with a very short 3/8 bolt that has been internally drilled and tapped for a 1/4 x 28tpi bolt. You end up with a lower that has the pistol grip bolted on like a DSA alloy para lower or the cast Argy para lowers.

I have a bunch on order but they only come in a few at a time.
