I ordered 500 rounds of RG from J&G Sales on the 26 of October. I received it today. :)As advertised and it looks good and clean. :) Kinda of a bitch to delink 500 rounds though. My hands are a little sore.

Now for the disappointment. It came not in the really cool British ammo cans but rather in a rather ordinary cardboard box. When I called to see where my ammo cans were they told me that they never ship it in the cans. I think I know why. Check out their ad in SGN. Yep there are my British ammo cans! "British ammo cans. $7.95 each or only something like $1.50 for 10 or more." They seperate the ammo from the cans and sell the cans seperatly. Can't really blame them. They make more money that way!
They also saoked me for $15.61 for shipping from Arizona to Texas.

But for .16 a round I guess that isn't too bad.

Yea I know that I can get ammo cheaper but I realy wanted to neat British ammo cans.

However, I think I will order from CTD from now on. They ship their RG in the neat British ammo cans. :D

I ordered a case of .223 from J&G last week because they were about the only people that had it in stock. The price was reasonable all things considered $109 but they reamed me good on shipping. Something like $25. I didnt think to ask them what shipping would be when I placed my order. By comparison I ordered 3 cases of 7.62x39 and a case of SA .308 from Gulf Coast and they charged me $23 shipping for the whole thing.

I had wondered where J&G got those cans. It never occurred to me they'd stoop that low...even Paragon usually sent the can.

Kiesler's Wholesale charges $8 for ammo shipping, that's $8 for one case or $8 for 10 cases, it's all the same.
I ordered 2000 rounds on Singapore .308, it came in two separate boxes, $8 total for shipping. My buddy ordered 3 cases of 9mm, $8 total for shipping.

Yep, the delivered price is what matters. Sometimes it's like pulling teeth to find out ahead of time.

The same ammo from Century is also linked, in the ammo cans, for $22.87/160 rounds delivered, which works out to $0.143 per round.

Here's their web site, but it's kind of hard to get around it:

http://www.kiesler.com/

They advertise in ShotGun News. Their phone number is 1-888-KIESLER(543-7537).
