Dan's the Man !!

I picked up two of Dans Ironwood metric sets, one standard and one Cairo set. Both sets are beautiful. I put the pressure on Dan as I needed them by the weekend. He sent them out the same Monday I sent the m/o to him. I received them Friday, the weekend I needed them.

Trust is a precious commodity here on the net.

Dan deserves our trust and IMO is an asset to the FAL files, and a nice guy to talk too.

Sorry no pic's yet, someday soon, I'm working on attaching a M79 to a FAL right now. Might be a little heavy though, we'll see when it's done. :cool:

I've got to toss in an attaboy to Dan Richardson, too. He's fixed me up with all sorts of fun stuff - from tactical grips to ironwood furniture to folding cocking handles. US parts, too.

And, he's a helluva guy [...and so is Danno].

Dan is a genuinely descent and conscientious man. I believe that he lives the, "do unto others, as you would have them do unto you", ethos. He is a generous and thoughtful person who has contributed to this board and this group immeasureably. I consider him a friend and I would not hesitate to entrust him with that which I hold dear. Well Dan, as you probably guessed I kept the Claro set for me, hehehe Hey I paid for both sets, my choice which one I keep for myself. My Son is going to end up with the other set to refinish, after he builds his own FAL. I have a cherry STG kit stashed away with a Imbel receiver for him to build someday, BTW he is only eight, but it won't be long before he is ready. The years seem to go by so fast now.
Ron stopped by and made the comment of how beautiful the Claro set will be when it is done.
Well that motivated me to get started on it.I should be able to post some pics in a couple of weeks. Hey, I didn't say I was fast, just motivated now.

Dan I wished you lived closer, I would love to see your shop and hang out for awhile.

I know , it's a shameless plug, but heck I was just admiring the set again today and I had to say something about it.

From one FAL-ohlic to another, I know you guys will understand.
