Sledgehammer painted FAL a thing of beauty!

Here are some pictures of my Imbel kit that Sledgehammer painted for me. The finish looks exactly like the original that was left on the kit. The work was done as promised and finished sooner than I expected. Heck he even did some detailing I wasn’t expecting and painted the original hand guards to match the stock and grip. I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Suffice it to say that this is quality work done by a quality guy.

It's a British Black Semi Gloss if I remember correctly.

Sledgehammer DOES an extraordinary fine job. He treats customers rifles as they were his own and doesn't leave out any detail.
The DSA Izzy HB he put together for me is almost too nice to shoot.

Was the rifle beadblasted before the paint applicated or parked then painted?

That is one good looking finish, I would like that on my next rifle(1st build).

I believe that to be the case. Sledgehammer told me that he had to park some of the parts before painting. This stuff is really stuck on there. I think it will be quite durable.
