I ordered a refinished kit in late October. Received it in early November and couldn't be more pleased. The wood butt stock is very good as is the butt plate. Rifling looks fine and no pits. No buggered screws.
Hope yours turns out as well.

Mine was excellent with the exception of the buttstock. It looks like it was made by a 7th grade shop class. I ordered the refinish and it is supurb. Matching color throughout. My bore is excellent. Bright, shiny and sharp rifling.

My refinished kit was WAY beyond expectations. Best buy on anything. Absolutely beautiful. Great Bore.

Out of 6 refinished kits, all are workable. Some better some worse, but all worth the $$.

I ordered my DSA G1 kit w/ repark option and the finish is beautiful. I was planning on refinishing the wood buttstock, but when I saw how good it looked I decided assemble (on DS type 1 for perfect finish match) and shoot now, refinish wood later after next kit is in shooting condition.

Got DSA G1 kit in today. Did not get the
refinish Kit. Took me all afternoon to get
the grease off. If thinking of buying get
the refinish option

I ordered one last week with the refinishing option. I figured that would save a days cleaning time. 3-4 wks for delivery
Tapco muzzle break on order.
Now I have to figure out which receiver to order.

Ordered the refinished kit and received it in about two weeks (the kits were being refinished). The bore and all the parts are in excellent condition, but it came with a damn STG buttstock! I didn't want another STG buttstock (even though its in very good condition). I wanted an original wood buttstock or even a piece of Turkish firewood. Assembled it this past Saturday with a 0.257 LC (bolt closed on 1.630" go gauge with a 0.256 pin gauge. Many, many thanks to Brad @ Gunthings - he received my order and trade-in LC on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving and I received the o.257 LC on Saturday! Gun runs on gas setting of 4, and is very accurate (20 round groups of 4 to 5 inches at 100 yds).

I bought the refinished G-1 kit from DSA the first week they were ordered, after getting my "pre-ordered" hand-select TAPCO kit, which went back (one of the very few times TAPCO really disappointed me).
They are great. Great bore, no buggered screws, matched the parkerizing on the Type I DSA upper I bought in the group buy.
Msnyder helped me barrel and headspace it, and it sits in the basement waiting for me to refinish the nice, solid wood buttstock and complete the build with FSE h/t/s, TAPCO gas piston, plastic pistol grip and sleeved flash hider.
I should spend less time on my ass playing on the computer and more at my workbench!
If you are still thinking about a G-1 and are going to pay to have it refinished, buy the DSA kit. Deal-o'rama.

Hey rwwje, want to trade that STG for a wood buttstock? I would be interested in it.

I order 2 DSA G1 kits with refinish and I consider it money well spent. Lots of extra parts, everything works and looks great. I think I had to wait 2 weeks to get them, but hey good things come to those who wait.
After seeing some of the other kits on the market I think I got the best deal going from DSA.

Sorry, I don't think they have a web page. There prices are semi fair. They do have a large inventory on Firearms, magazines, and ammo. And I know for a fact, that there FFL is on file with Bushmaster, and Entreprise Arms. :)
