I am really considering an M444 from Dans. Can someone please give me an opinion on these compared to price not other rifles. I come to the conclusion that they are alot better than CAI's rifles but just under DSA's kit guns. Is this safe to assume?

I bought a M444 from Dan's and it's a good shooter, it holds a 3" group at 100 meters mag after mag. Love mine :cool: :cool: :cool:

Aren't you restricted in magazine use with the M444? With new metric magazines sooooo cheap, I would want a rifle with all 7 US parts inside the gun, and stock up on those $5-$8 mags.

I'm building an L1A1 that will be perfect (to me) for $730. I considered buying an M444 but decided to build what I wanted for about the same money. I can't recomend for or against the M444 but if your up for it, building is a cool option for about the same price that you may want to consider.
