His description of my type two DSA receiver skipping across the garage floor convinced me. I ordered a Wilton Tradesman 1765 and it came in yesterday. It is one sweet piece of ductile iron! Truly a work of art in fit and finish. $303 shipped from PRK to FLA. It's been said before, but I reiterate, if you can, get the Wilton.

Amazon.com had the best price I found for the Tradesman 1745 (4 1/2" jaws versus 6 1/2) at $199 shipped.

I used mine today. My only complaint is that I feel compelled to protect the jaws from other tempting metal-squashing jobs. I might order an extra set of jaw-blocks. One for mashing beer cans and such, the other just for FAL barrels.

It is possible to chip the edge of the jaw block. Ask me how I know.

Jeter, you're an addictions specialist, luring people into expensive addictions of FAL's and then expensive tools addiction. President Bush will probably award you the medal of freedom for personally stimulating the economy to the tune of a billion dollars or more. Kyle

Where does one purchase parts/accessories for the Wilton? I would like an extra set of jaw blocks too.
