I just received a case of Lippman-Enterprises German 9mm. It runs $115 per K plus shipping. The total cost was $131 with the shipping charge.
It's 124gr. brass cased, non-corrosive from Dynamit Nobel, the fine people who bring you Brenneke slugs.
I have shot a few hundred rounds of this already, and have found it to be clean and reliable ammunition, at least for my Glock pistol. I'm shooting in a casual Action Centerfire League and in timed events it didn't pay to have Type 3 failures (fail to eject) like I was having with Olympic (Greek) brass cased.
I usually shoot Wolf 9mm, cheap and ultra-reliable in the Glock, but have been thinking about reloading and have 'booked' time on a friends Dillon reloader and wanted to collect some once fired (by me) brass.
I'm planning on ordering 5 more cases from him soon. I really like this ammo, and am not sure how much reloading I will likely be doing in the time it would take me to use up 5K.
Anybody else have any experience with this stuff?
Dirk
