Like most of us, I like to tinker. My current project is scouterizing a $60 turkish mauser. I contacted Hoosiergunworks on the first of July to see if they had some merchandise that I wanted in stock. They had two out of the three items, in. Called them on the third, added a VZ-24 stock to the order, and gave my discover card number, email address, and cell phone. I asked, as is my normal mode of operation, to be contacted if anything happened. I was told that they couldn't get it out that day, they were closed the fourth, but that it would get in the mail on the fifth. Should arrive by the following Tuesday.
Following Wednesday I email them, and go to the website, as the package hadn't arrived. There was a note on the website stating that they would be vacation that week, picking up some merchandise from a closed distributor for resale.
Waited Until July 16th, emailed another time, asking where the merchandise was. As a matter of fact I quote:
"Dear Sirs,
I understand that you have been out of town. I understand that perhaps the package wasn't shipped
before you left. But I would appreciate the lowest type of customer service, a simple acknowledgment of my existence."
Received a reply on the 17th which I will quote again:
"Sorry for delay.
Found your order. Was it was processed the 6 th of July, but not in time for
UPS to pick up. If you still want your order it can go out tomorrow July
18th, please, advise.
With the storm and water damage from last Sunday, we didn't get warehouse
cleaned up to ship by last Tuesday night.
Got back in town yesterday and started going thru emails today. We moved a
tractor trailer load of stuff from Missouri to Indaian and still need to
unload and sort.

As I had not received the merchandise as of this last Monday I re-emailed them, asked them if the merchandise had been shipped. I got a long pause and was told that "Mike the boss" canceled the order. That none of the VZ stocks were anygood. When I asked about another stock in place of the one I ordered I was told that the order was canceled. When I asked about the buttplates that were in stock I was told that the order was canceled. Notice that in the previous emails I was told that the order "Was it was processed the 6 th of July, but not in time for UPS to pick up. If you still want your order it can go out tomorrow July 18th, please, advise."
Guy's I don't ask for alot, an email, a voicemail, something! I didn't get crap. That apparently what this place considers to be good service. If you are looking for good service, and
