Hey Casey:
Thanks for the look at three of my rifles George is working on!
From the left, the fourth one is my full DSA carbine that's never been shot, (I'm having him blue it as only he can). The sixth from the left is my pre ban Israeli LB, yes it came with black painted wood. He's refinishing it and stripping the black paint off the wood. The eighth from the left is an Imbel receivered StG 58 kit that I had another smith build, and I was less than thrilled that he painted the barrel, so George will refinish it as well.
I can't wait to shoot them all, but George's perfection takes time.

I believe the Izzy HB is mine.
Not 100% sure, but, 95+% anyway.
I think I'll name her Hadassah in honour of our buddy Joe Lieberman's wife.
What do you boys think?? You too Jen!

Yes,
You are both right ;-) Your FAL's are in the bunch. About half those are gone now,
but more have taken their spot :-)
Both your's and several other's are "in the works",
Thanks, George

Zounds, what a collection of hardware.
I'm not sure but the eighth from the left
sure looks (I hope!) like my Australian
L1A1 with the coachwood furniture. I've
been anxiously awaiting its' return with
its' new Imbel inch cut receiver and long-
awaited FSE U.S. made inch parts.

The carbines are righteous. What type handguards are those and if they are plastic or glass what would I need to shop for in order to get a complete set? I've got a set of steel ones on mine but that's a good look as well. I guess the bipod detents are there but of a different style than STG's? Thanks.

2nd pic over from bottom left is my FALO! Recoginze her from a mile away. She's sitting in my safe right now. George, you definately do an incredible job. I sent a beat up really thrashed Izzy kit, Imbel reciever, mint stripped Izzy barrel, and a mess of US parts (which finally became DSA parts), and a incredible weapon was born.
I'll be posting some more pics when I have the time...

To "Manyfals":
You need to get "The FAL Rifle", by R.Blake Stevens. Iy will set you back between $110. and $130., but especially if you have, or plan to have "Many FALs", it will be something that will field lots of questions not unlike your receiver question. In short there are different "Types" of FAL receivers, based on where and when it was born, type twos are somewhat obscure.
To Cliff M.:
I believe you are correst about Hadassah Lieberman's wife's family being held at Sobitor or Auschwitz, but I don't believe there could be anything "Unclean" about an individual attempting to hold her and/or her husband politically accountable for the position they have taken regarding the Second Amendment. Joe Lieberman has recently stated that he believes there needs to be stronger "Common sense" gun laws. Hadassah Lieberman and her Husband have made a decision to live a life in the public forum, a life that, if they are successful in their ambitions, will attempt to shape the rights we, as Americans enjoy. I for one, do not think the background of Hadassah Lieberman's Family should make her or her husband immune from accountability, or for that matter ridicule, it their public policy decisions warrant it.

My, What an "eyeing" bunch ;-)
The handguards are DSA on the Carbine Mdl we
"re-did". PN# 021-US. They are alot better than they used to be.
And yes JLH, that's your IMI/IDF H.B. "Monster". You humb that bad MoFO for a while and you'll have the Arnie/Termanator look shortly ! ;-)
The rifle did shoot extremely well. I was hitting rocks abouttwo-fist sized @ 300 yrds at the landing behind me in the shot where I'm holding your FAL.
Thanks, George

Sorry to inform all those who inquired about the IMI / IDF FAL's in the pics, none are for sale as far as I know.
They were some sweetie's too :-)

You know Cliff you're right! But then come to think of it, I have not heard anyone from HGI, (Hand Guns International, the leading anti-gun group in the United States, and perhaps the world) say they wished to take our Second Amendment rights away!
But, Ms. Hadassah Lieberman did recently state that she fully supports her husband's position after a speach he made while on a campaign stop in Maryland. During that brief speach (as reported by Peter Jennings) Mr. Lieberman said there needs to be stronger "Common sense" gun laws.
"Common sense" gun laws has become the mantra of the anti-gunners as of late, so as to put the "Spin" on the issue, that anyone who did not also support further restrictions on gun ownership in the United States, would lack this "Common sense".

Boys! It was only meant as a joke.
I just couldn't bring myself to call that fine rifle "Tipper".
Sorry, but, Joe Lieberman is not a friend of anyone who believes in the Second Amendment as an individual right. If you'll do a little research, she's right there saying she believes in what he believes in. I just thought it would be amusing to name something he hates after something he loves. The additional irony would be that some Israeli (Jew) carried it to defend his nation and family and that our pal Joe wouldn't want us to be able to do the same with it. Does that clear it up?
Can you spell ironic?
No vicious personal attack here. Was I profane?
Now to Cliff M: Get real. Grow some skin. A little thicker would seem to be in order.
Oh by the way, can I name one of my dogs after your mother?
Cheers.

Beautiful guns, George! I will have all my FAL's refinished by you, now to scrape up the cash to do it. But when I do get enough saved up for 4 FAL's then I know that they will come out looking OUTSTANDING and SPECTACULAR!
